Today as the editor I want to bring to our readers attention one of our own NW Prep Sports Family that is in great need of help. West Valley High School (WA) star athlete Jace Malek. The total student athlete was offered and accepted a Full Ride to University of Idaho. Jace was just informed that he has a tumor in his hip and the 3 Time State Finalist in wrestling is going into a full blown and very sudden battle to fight this Cancer; this evil killer of men, women, and children.
We donated to his fund this AM and I am asking any and all of you that can help to do so. This young man is no more special really then any of our wonderful kids and a disease like this hits everyone equally and it happens a lot. But right now Jace Malek needs our help through Prayer and any financial donations you can offer.

“Jace Malek, is a young man with true character and an extreme work ethic. He has a passion for competition in both the sport of football and wrestling. His hard work has led him into the Washington High School State finals 3 times in wrestling, and has helped him secure a full scholarship to the University of Idaho.
Over the past week he and his family have received some shocking news that he has a large cancerous tumor in his hip. This has hit our community with a tragic blow and has left his family with a very large obligation in medical bills. He will require several months of chemo and several months of radiation on top of other medical procedures that will be required to fight this battle.
For those of you that have had the privilege of meeting this terrific young man, he is a class act. He is an outstanding student, athlete, and friend to many. Hi I want to help out. When I had friend diagnosed with cancer I held many fundraisers, then I was diagnosed with cancer and held some fundraisers. I designed a teeshirt and have a great logo that says Kick Cancer. I want to sell these tee shirts and get him some money to help with his medical costs. PLEASE get a hold of me and lets get this going for you guys. You can order these shirts in any color cause cancer comes in ever type and color and you can sell them for what ever price you need. I also have some other wonderful ideas if you will give me a few minutes of your time.
