One of the top rated guys on our NWPR ALL NW TOP 200 just landed a very real option for himself in the form of a full ride offer from Georgetown University. Top WR prospect Samori Toure of Westview High School has long been an under the radar recruit and clearly is one of the most gifted athletes in the Pacific NW. Besides having a dominating year on the football field the 6’3″ Toure recently scored 44 points in a Wildcats basketball game.
He is long, muscular, fast, and can leap. Add to that great hands and you have all the ingredients of a terrific college football prospect. Air Force academy had offered him earlier in the year and Samori has heard form many schools these past few months. Getting the Georgetown offered happened through come coaching relationships and the Hoya’s did not have to look much beyond his highlight film to make their decision and offer.
That educational opportunity has him laser focused on their program. While that is happening the family is expecting an in home visit from Montana; a school closer to home that has his interest too. He is set to visit the Grizzlies where he might be very well utilized.
No doubt for one of the top guys in the Region this is a special time of the year and to have these options develop, even if it is late, is a big relief. It took an awful lot of work for him to get to this point and to see it all pay off is just really rewarding all the way around! Congrats to Samori and we look for more big news coming as signing day gets near!
