Austin Joyner Espouses Love For WSU- Campus, Fit, and Outdoors The Key

Austin Joyner has one year left to enjoy High School at Marysville-Pilchuck in Washington and then it is on to college.  The young man who has blown past the 4,000 yard mark rushing and posted just silly big numbers all over the field will move on, if all goes according to plan, to WSU and be a Cougar.  We caught up to him this Summer and what he had to say did nothing but reaffirm his position that he will be a WSU Cougar.

Austin Joyner is a 4 star Rivals Recruit and seems set on WSU at this juncture.

It is a number of things that lead him to WSU despite his many other offers including other Pac 12 schools like Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, & Colorado.  He also turned down Boise State and Arkansas.  Why you might ask?

“The Outdoor life there is great.  I love all of that.  My brother is there and the fit for me on the football field.  It all adds up!”

He may listen to others but the relaxed speedster looks to be a defensive back for the future at WSU and boy is the 4 star recruit a great one to get!  Things may change but right now this guy is staying on the path he is on.  Here is our interview with him earlier this Summer.
