He is one of the top recruits in all the land and tonight a school he has a high level of interest in moved in on him. The Stanford Cardinal have offered Mustafa Branch out of Bellevue. The 6’0″ 215 pound speedster plays Running Back and Linebacker and is one of several star players in Bellevue’s Top Nationally rated squad.
Mustafa Btanch holds a dozen offers or so and all D-1. Tonight he Committed to Stanford!
He is having a banner season again and his intriguing mix of power, speed, and leaping ability have allowed him to be recruited on both sides of the ball.
Currently he holds 10 major offers and Stanford makes 11. He touched base to let us know right after it happened letting us know he has a high level of interest in Stanford and that this was something he is very happy about.
“I talked to coach Hart, Anderson, and Hansen. They just said they came to my game and liked what they saw, they’ve seen my film and would like to offer me a scholarship,” said Branch. “The offer is for Linebacker!”
He was on the run so not much more was said but as we spoke he stopped us to let us know that his Head Coach has cleared him to tell us the big news.
“I AM COMMITTED TO STANFORD!”
The Cardinal land an amazing kid here. Colorado, Oregon State, Cal, Utah, and Washington State have all offered him from the Pac 12 and now Stanford. There is a strong sense the Ducks and Huskies might be next; time will tell. Right now he seems 100% done on the recruiting front.
Anytime one of our kids gets a Stanford offer it is huge news! Having them commit is even better.
