The most widely recognized Quarterback in the NW for 2015, Brett Rypien of Shadle Park High School, has shocked the recruiting world in many ways by declaring his future home early. Yesterday he declared that Boise State was going to be where he will spend his college years. This is a major pick up for the Broncos who will no doubt use Rypien in every way conceivable.
We covered Brett way back in 2012 with the first National coverage of the rising star.
The Rypien family is on the baseball circuit this weekend where Brett is a star player. They sped out to Boise to make a Junior Day however. While there Brett says he saw enough to make a decision. The facilities, recruiting class, and new Head Coach Bryan Harsin and his staff locked the 6’2″- 190 lb gunslinger in. While things can change it does appear the records breaking Junior will be a Bronco and will not attend WSU where his legendary Uncle Mark Rypien went years ago before going on to become a Super Bowl MVP.
