A quick shout out tonight to point out that the Silverton Foxes lead by Head Coach John Mannion are 9-0 and riding a wave into the playoffs. They have a load of talent no doubt none the least of which is Cole Chandler. The Senior star QB gets little press it seems and that may be more about geography and being in the 5A then anything else.
Cole Chandler is the most accomplished QB stats wise out there and while he is looking for offer #1 still he has his Silverton Foxes rolling at #1 in the 5A.
Cole has had just a stellar season and is now 30-3 in his 3 years as the starter for Silverton. That is 10 wins for every 1 loss his team has suffered. This is so noteworthy. Chandler is capable of playing at as high of a level as any QB we have in the Northwest. He is worth a serious look and has his Film all updated and ready for review.
“My team and I finished our regular season with another win. We are undefeated (9-0) heading into the State Playoffs. This season’s wins brings my record as a 3 year starting QB to 30-3,” offered Chandler.
What about recruiting?
“I have had some conversations with some D1 schools about possible preferred walk on roster spots but I’m still looking for my first offer. Some schools have said they will be re-evaluating roster openings after the season ends,” he added.
No doubt about that one.
