A featured player we want to send some love out to is Crescent Valley 2 way threat Court Hammond. The 6’5″- 235 lb cruiser is so fast and agile for his size that he has college prospect written all over him. His film from last season just shows the tip of his potential. What we saw in camps this off season brought it all into focus. Court can be a very good football player at any level.
He has an excellent wing span, big hands, and the ability to make catches. He can leap and has great stride length which moves him across the field very quickly once he has the ball in his hands. Look for Court to play Tight End, H-Back in the slot, and defensive end this season. He has a host of colleges watching him and wanting early season film and has been training hard with his Team getting ready for the season ahead.
Court Hammond won an All NWEFC Camp MVP award this past June out of a loaded field of talent.
“Crescent Valley can be a top team in the State this year! I’m excited to get pads on though so we can see where the team is really at,” said Hammond.
On the recruiting front he took trips to Oregon State, Eastern Washington and Montana State for camps. He performed well and feels his work on the field this year will lead to the result he is looking for.
