David Ajamu is big, fast, mobile, and has superb hands. He is as good as any big man we have seen this past year and the OSU Offer confirms his PAC 12 Status. He was the most impressive athlete we saw during Football Super weekend and he parlayed that into a couple of nice D-1 Offers and then after he showed out at the Northwest Skills Camp at UW yesterday. David Ajamu impressed the OSU Coaches enough that they saw what we were seeing too. We covered him twice in the last month and now he has it happening.
Shelton is a small town. But this 6'5" – 240 pound stud is as good or better then anyone we have seen this year. OSU is big for him. That is a place a Tight End can go and not only play but shine. And on reflection this young man could play anywhere in the PAC 12. If you lined up the top guys in the Northwest Region at TE and DE and tested them and pushed them he would be the guy to beat right now.
Will the Cougars Offer? Boise State? UW? Anything is possible for this guy and no one should expect there to be any limits to what can happen for him. It was great to be one of the first to see him and to see him rise this fast is really great. Congrats to David! Now here is the interview we nabbed tonight as he talks us through what happened and how the offer went down.
