Three days last week wrapped up the GPA Football Showcase and Sunday the best were named the Camp’s MVP’s! This 3 day affair had coaches from dozens of colleges in the mix and combined progressive positional drills and 1 on 1 competition as well as 7 on 7. In the end more then 600 athletes from all over came to the UH to compete and get after it. There is no way to express how many kids got better and how many moved up the recruiting boards at this event but it is safe to say it was more then the special athletes who walked off with the MVP trophies.
The camp is a tremendous value when compared to anything offered on the mainland where such camps can cost easily double the GPA entry fee and yet only last 2 hours. The boys of Hawaii and beyond are lucky to have this opportunity and a place to shine right at home.
