Isaiah Brandt Sims Hits 1000 Yard Mark At Wenatchee

As many of you probably already know, Wenatchee Sophomore sensation Isaiah Brandt-Sims can flat out fly. Last spring as a freshman, Brandt-Sims flew his way to the state 4A track titles in both the 100 and 200 meters.

The young rocket man won the 100 meters in 10.74 seconds and 200 meters in a blistering 21.29 seconds. He also ran a lightning quick
48.5 seconds over 400 meters during the season. That folks is absolutely getting after it, let alone for a ninth grader.

This autumn the 5’11” 175 pounder is having an excellent season for the Panthers out of the Columbia Basin Big Nine League. Brandt-Sims, a running back/defensive back
has carried the ball 84 times for 530 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground. The fleet footed burner has also caught 35 passes for 481 yards and 5 scores through the airways.

Isaiah is coming off one of his best games of the year when he ran for 112 yards and a touchdown against #3 ranked Chiawana on the road. The Panthers lost a hard fought
battle to the Riverhawks, 27-13.

Brandt-Sims and his Panthers are fighting for their playoff lives, they have a 3 way tie-breaker with Richland and Davis for the CBBN’s third and final seed. Along with the
thoroughbred Brandt-Sims, the Wenatchee crew also starts a sophomore at quarterback in Dillion Sugg and features a young ball club overall. The football future indeed looks
very bright in Wenatchee.

As for Brandt-Sims, the sky is the limit with this young man. With that combination of size and speed, as well as an outstanding 3.9 grade point average he should do great things.

He is a gifted basketball player as well, so keep your eyes wide open for this young blazer.
