Isaiah Infanse Could Be Next Myles Gaskin

Isaiah Infanse Could Be Next Myles Gaskin

Remember when Myles Gaskin came out of O’Dea High School and went to UW a few years back?  His recruitment was very low key and many felt he was not going to be the impact player he became.  Now with a very probable NFL career ahead of him, Gaskin is hot stuff and clearly was the real deal out of High School.  In his Senior campaign, he led O’Dea to a 9-2 season and rushed for 1,570 yards and had 23 TDs.  All great numbers but it was his footwork, balance, power, and speed that made him special and the UW staff saw that.

Seeing the talent means looking way beyond the stats.  As coaches settle in for the offseason and a bowl game or two recruiting has taken off again.  Coaches looking for missing puzzle piece, looking for their Myles Gaskin 2018 Version, will want to zero in on Bellvue High School in Bellevue, Washington.   That is the home of Isaiah Ifanse.  We have covered him before and the 3 star RB is super special.  But he is still looking for that 1st Pac 12 offer and we believe it is coming soon.

Ifanse tore it up this season with 44 TD’s and 2,468 yards Rushing making him the best in the NW.  The 5’9″- 185 lb burner shows all the skills of Gaskin and has a similar running style.  Navy, Air Force, and Idaho have offered him.  Hard to say who else is close or could offer but Oregon State comes to mind tonight as their new Coach, Jonathan Smith, just left the Huskies and has been coaching Gaskin and the offense for the past 3 seasons at UW.  We will let the film say the rest.  Once you are 2 minutes in you will see all you need to know!  This is one terrific football player.
