Where are all the top rated corner backs? How are we going to stop this teams passing attack? Questions every NFL and NCAA program as been asking. In a pass happy world with all the glory going to the Receivers fewer and fewer guys want to play corner. So where will teams find these nearly extinct athletes?
One place anyone recruiting the Pacific Northwest will want to start is right here in Seattle at 802 Terry Avenue. That is the home of the O’Dea Fighting Irish.
It is also home to one very talented Corner. Jayshawn Jordan to be specific.
At 5’10” and 170 pounds he fits the role. His 275 pound bench and 370 pound squat reveal why he is so explosive. Jayshawn also has a 34″ vertical and better then average speed.
But it is nose for the football and ability to read receivers that make him a really exciting prospect. His ability to change direction is also a gift.
As he prepares for Track season as a sprinter he reflected on last seasons grid iron campaign.
“I feel I had a good year. But injuries kept me from doing all I was hoping to do. So this year I am really working on playing at 100% health,” said Jayshawn.
