The kid has the skill. The coaches have been watching him closely. And the time has come now for Justice Murphy of Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington to step into the spotlight. Fresh off some great showings in the Spring at various events and with the praises of his Head Coach and a growing list of supporters Justice is landing interest and offers.
“Justice received 3 offers today and more and coming in. The hard work is paying off and he is not done yet,” said Don Johnson who is Murphy’s Head Coach and going into his 2nd year as Head Coach of the Plainsmen.
What we know so far is that the 6’1″- 190 lb speedster has landed Idaho, Wyoming, and Eastern Washington. All terrific options and great programs to earn a full ride to. But the word is that 2 or 3 Pac 12’s are on the verge of offering within a few days. His speed and ability to out quick opponents at the highest level seems to be driving the interest level.
How is Murphy handling all of this?
“It honestly feels so surreal! Still hasn’t really sunk in! I am very blessed and humbled But it’s not a reality until I make it all the way,” said Justice who is known for his hard work and effort.
Almost the entire Pac 12 have been actively recruiting him. No word yet on who is about to offer and it does not really matter. That will all work itself out. He is putting on muscle and gaining speed right now and boy does he look terrific. His 4.5 40 and his 34″ Vertical are the tell tale signs of a weapon of the highest potential.
Justice may be the #1 WR prospect in the NW before long. We discussed his schedule for the off season and he is waiting to see what happens and work with his coaches to set the best options. In the mean time he is just going to work.
Murphy is going to be exciting to watch for sure and NWPR will be there! Congrats to Justice Murphy for all his success so far.
