It’s time to have a look at yet another Top Athlete in the Pacific NW Recruiting Class for 2015 and this time we look North a ways up I-5 to Henry Jackson High School where talent is always to be found. We have had some amazing athletes that we have covered right here at NWPR from Jackson and we cover another one today! His name is Keynan Foster but it might as well be “Whoosh!” because ladies and gentlemen this young man is the fastest cat in the game.
In our 2 Minute Drill we break the kids down with a base set of questions and let them tell you College Coaches and readers about themselves. Keynan is well known but I still feel he could be better known. As you review his info below have a look at what is marked in Red for sure. That is a 4.39 40 yard dash, a 3.94 shuttle. and a 10’6″ Broad Jump. These sort of numbers alone set him apart in a rare 1/2 of 1% of all guys who have ever tested. These are the same sort of number the great Jonathan Stewart put up and while Foster is no Stewart he is special.
He is terrific on punt or kick return, great in the slot or at WR, and can be powerful DB!
The like of Idaho and Air Force and several Big Sky schools have offered this speed-merchant and I am telling you he is capable of all of that and then some. We want to watch his early season film and release it – we feel he is a Pac 12 level kid. No matter where he goes someone is getting a special kid – and we could not be happier for him.

ON: How is the Season Going so far for you and the Team?
Season hasn’t started but I can’t wait for it. We have been lifting and conditions 5 times a week the whole summer.
What Position(s) are you playing this season?
I’ll be playing WR and some slot also running back. On defense I’ll be playing corner and some safety.
ON: Are you happy with your progress?
Yes I am very happy with my progress. I feel like my routes have gotten a lot this better this summer from all of these camps I have gone too. My strengths are definitely my speed and quickness.
On: What is your favorite part of the Football season?
My favorite part about football season is the games of course. Playing under the lights with your team in front of all of your freinds and family also the school. It’s pretty cool representing your school on the field every Friday.
In a year from now what do you want to look back on and remember about this season that is just ahead?
I really haven’t thought of that but if there was one it would be us making the playoffs and accomplishing all of the goal ls we set for the season.
Name some guys who you have been impressed with on your team? Any surprises or young guys standing out?
|Alex Cheesman-our QB has put in a lot of work this off season and is going to be running a new offense that fits his style.Ryan Fee- offensive tackle and defensive tackle. He is about 6’2″ 240 and is a returning guy for us was impressive last year and I’m excited to see see what he bring this year for us
Jason Cottingham- OLB captain and leads by example. Always is working his butt off and brings it everyday.
Andrew Cho- First year starter at RB. Going to be a junior but he is going to be a big part of our offense and is very athletic.
Elijah Crooker- Offensive Guard/DE returning starter going to be a junior. Big part of our offense and defense this year. Works super hard very fast for his size.
ON: Why should a college recruit you when there are so many kids out there? What sets you apart?
I think my size definitely sets me apart from other recruits also I can play wherever a coach would like to put me. Whether it’s on KR/PR or it’s at the slot or even running back. Also my speed!
