Myles Gaskin Breaks 2,000 Yards & 30 TD’s As Final 4 Knocks

He is fast and speedy and quick.  But really he is fast!  That probably describes him best.  But that alone can not really describe the kid from Seattle, Washington’s O’Dea High School.

Myles Gaskin is fast, quick, tough, and finishes his runs like a top recruit should! He now has 2,060 yds on the season in somewhat limited duty and has 31 TD's.

His game includes a myriad of moves and he pulls them out in wild combinations.  There is the “shake and bake”, the “stop and go”, the “see you later”, and the always popular “I’m about to Run You Over”.

Against Mt Si in the opening round the Junior phenom ran for 231 yards and five touchdowns on just 14 carries.   He hailed praises on his offensive line.

In Week 2 of the playoffs the Fighting Irish came to Vancouver, Washington to play Mountain View.  They led 49-0 at the half thanks in large part to Myles Gaskin’s 165 yards and 3 TD’s on 11 carries.  It does not appear he played in the second half which is something that has plagued him all year.  He could be rushing for 300 plus yards a game but with two games left is focused on the next game.  The Irish will meet Eastside Catholic who have one of the best defensive line core groups in the Region and they will be gunning for the shifty RB.

Now at 2.060 and 31 TD’s on his season Myles is ready to shine.  With recent offers from the UW and WSU other schools are moving in to see this guy play.  By this time next season Myles should be on some All American invite lists and be sitting on a heap of attention.  That can all wait.

“We just know that we are going up against a great team and we need to play our best game of the year,” said Myles.

We expect him to do just that.  O’Dea is loaded and this one will be a great one to watch!
