It was a wild ride for the Summit Storm in 2015 as they took the Oregon 5 A Football crown with authority. Leading the charge were a number of guys but the main man that made that offense work is Junior QB sensation John Bledsoe. Yes- that Bledsoe!
John, a 6’3″- 195 lb speedster, had a big 10th grade season and followed that up with being named the IMC Offensive Player of the Year and 1st Team All League QB. The reason for that has nothing to do with his famous last name but more to do with what he did with that arm of his!
Those stats are excellent by anyone’s standards. In the semi-finals against a Top 4 Team in Crater John completed 19 straight passes and went 28 for 32 stacking up 240 yards and 4 TD’s. That is 87.7% efficiency and a 138.1 QB Rating- folks that will win Championships no matter what universe your playing in!
In the State Championship he hit 22 of 31 for 275 yards and 2 TD’s and ran 2 in as well. This young man is special.
And look at this Payoff run! 167 points in 4 games and they laid waste to everyone. This is a seriously talented and well coached ball club!
We love his film- smooth releases, good velocity, great vision, and near perfect timing. Having Drew Coach he and the offense is showing up big time for all of them. Genetically he is born to play this game. Probably his poise in the pocket and ability to read the coverages is most impressive and he still has a ton of room to grow!
NAU ( Northern Arizona) has just offered John and we share this from his Twitter Feed-
So excited and thankful to have received a scholarship to play football at Northern Arizona University! #gojacks pic.twitter.com/9j3kp5CbRH

and of Course his film is embedded below. It is really very good and we don’t see much time passing before Pac 12 schools are on him. A true talent with no down-side as a recruit. He may be an All American in the making; he will have my vote for sure! John has been on the NWPR ALL NW Top 200 and will be in the Top 5 for his Class in Oregon! See that list here.
Here is John Bledsoe’s Film!
