People have been talking about Nicholas Ah Sam for two years . Accolades in the media and All League and All State reports have been heaped upon the 6’1″- 200 pound Athlete from Springfield High School. We covered Nick this Spring. Coaches reading this you simply must take a few minutes to consider this young man and his talents. They are considerable and when I watch teams compete and win with local talent I think of guys like Ah Sam. He could help any team from the Ducks to the Beavers to SOU and the Vikings.
The only question is will someone from Washington, Idaho, or Montana get to him first?
We see this play out again and again where top talent slips through the hands of our NW Colleges and Universities only to rise up somewhere else and shine. And Ah-Sam can shine very brightly in almost anything he does. In fact he is so good at basketball that he spent more time then he should have playing AAU ball and missing all the major football exposure camps.
Here in lies part of the story on Nicholas- he is still incredibly unknown and way under recruited. There in lies the big opportunity!
Last week Nic Ah Sam ran 32 times for 282 yards and four scores and passed for 87 yards and another touchdown, powering the Millers to a 41-28 win over North Eugene. And this is not the first time he has done something like this. He is capable of this sort of thing every night. This young man is the human highlight reel but won’t promote himself much. That is ok. Expect Highlight film soon. For now have a taste!
He has no current HUDL film – this will change so be ready. This young man is a big time talent and appears on our All NW Top 300 Prospect watch list.
Nicholas Ah Sam Must Be Recruited
