NW BEST SHOWCASE A MUST ATTEND JUNE 2nd

The best Camp in the NW appears to be the NW Best Showcase June 2nd in Portland, Oregon

NW BEST SHOWCASE A MUST ATTEND JUNE 2nd

Editors Update:  Oregon State, Boise State, Fresno State, Eastern Washington, Hawaii, UNC, & Portland State, are all 100% confirmed to attend the NWBESTSHOWCASE- At least a Dozen more colleges are expected to showcase at this Camp!

There were two High School Football camps slated for June 2nd, 2017 that were planning to feature Coaches from around the US  on the Calender.  One, the NW Elite Football Camp, has already registered hundreds of athletes.   The other, The NW Best Showcase, has just opened up registration and spots are going fast.

NWPR held a specific phone Interview with Lewis and Clark Head Coach Jay Locey.  Under the current NCAA rules that is essence ban “Satellite Camps” the Pioneers head coach has agreed to take over ownership of the camp and management of the camp which was run last season by Madison Football Coach Don Johnson.  Johnson, perhaps the most connected High School Coach in the NW, has put in hundreds of hours of work to get the camp to meet very strict guidelines which included him bowing out for no financial gains. This is why he is one of the best Football influences in the Pacific NW not to mention the lives he has changed at every school he has been at with his “all-in” support for the kids in the classroom, at home, and on the field.

NWPR will be at the NW Best Showcase this year on June 2nd all day and we expect Coach Locey, one of the greatest football minds in the game, to host a no-nonsense football camp loaded with other college coaches too.  We first got to know Coach Locey when he was at Linfield and won National titles- he went on to be one of the premier coaches at Oregon State before taking the head job at LC.

As of this AM it is our belief that the NW Elite Football Camp does not have a home, may be too far behind the curb, and probably will not happen.  It is not their fault because the new rules basically make this nearly impossible for them to do.  It may happen but with less than 2 weeks to camp it looks like a long shot.  We have helped this camp since it’s tfirst year and it does have a proud history so we wish them well.

From the NW Elite Sports / NWEFC website 5-17-17

The facts are that the NWEFC is showing no location, no date, and the list of Coaches attending being advertised is not accurate.  We will broadcast the facts as they become more clear.  Yesterday the camp was slated for June 3rd, 2017- today the website is showing June 2nd.  We will see.  If both camps are the same day it appears the kids an families will just have to pick and guess who will have the best value and coaches.

NW Best Showcase is $125.  NW Elite Football Camp is $145.

To all of you calling and texting us this is the best info we can offer as of right now.

We will be at Lewis and Clark sun up to sun down and because the facility has one field we know there will be a cap on how many guys can come.  We recommend you not wait.

The NWPR rules on what camp to attend are always the same- the #1 camp to attend is a camp where 1) College Coaches are at and 2)  Major Media is confirmed.  The NW Best Showcase has confirmed all of this and therefore the camp on June 2nd is a Must attend.
