Just a fun night watching scores come in here in the NW and catching some NW Prep Football Alumni of NWPR and NW Prep Football making waves for their teams.  There are so many great kids that have moved on that we once and a while post updates from the Collegiate seen to our readership to keep you up to date on what is going on with the kids you may have cheered for not too many years ago.  We will be doing these Alumni Updates every week or so and we want you to tell us what your favorite prep player is doing now in the college ranks.  Send your pics and nominations to us at dirkknudsen@gmail.com and we will include them.  Here is a look at just a few from this week so far!

Uso Olive huges his Federal Way team mate DJ May.  May broke off 96 yards rushing today and had a TD to help Wyoming beat Montana and Olive is a force at D-line.  A great moment from today!

Ryan Lewis (Eastlake- PITT) led the DEFENSE today in tackles ot a 62-0 win.  One of 3 Lewis boys moving up to play along with brothers Drew and Troy!  Way to represent back East Ryan!

From left to right Darin Laufasa (Bothell HS WA),  Corey Laufasa (Evergreen HS WA) & WSU Cougar) and Jeremiah Laufausa (Juanita HS WA).  Darrin and Jeremiah are playing at UTEP for the Miners and Corey after a very successful career at WSU is now a strength training coach at UTEP!  John and Maria Laufasa must be the proudest parents in the NW- well right up there anyway!

Massive Central Catholic (OR) All American linemen Brennan Scarlett went off today as a starting TE for the Cal Bears in their Victory over Northwestern.

6'9" All american Linemen From Lakes High School in Washington started today at tackle for the USC Trojans - after a great comeback from surgery last season.  He can be better then ever now!

Cedric Dozier of Lakes did a great job today for Cal as a starting corner against one of the best wide receivers in the land!  Way to go Ced!

Jordan Simone played his first game for Arizona today after a long road to get there.  One of our favorite guys from the Jake Heaps era at Skyline High in Sammamish, WA.

Ryan Nall (Left) and Jacob Nall (Right) are brothers from Central Catholic in Portland.  Both are amazing athletes and hey battled today as PSU battled OSU!

Steven Long of Sherwood/Lake Oswego High Schools recovered from injuries and a Brain Tumor in one of the comeback of the decade stories.  He Made it back for Vikings today and battled against OSU at RB!

Trevor Dye of Oregon City  is a total package at WR for the Vikings.  This was his pic before the big game and we expect huge things form this guy!

Lastly Keegan Lawrence of Sherwood who ended up at SOU went for 61 yards and 2 TD's in his first few carries as a Raider.   Austin Dodge of Skyview added 321 yards and 5 more TD's to his record setting pace at QB and Klamath Falls Alex Stork led the team with tackles with 8 in the big win over Menlo College.

    You forgot Dylan Young from North Salem Hs. On a record setting pace at Southern Oregon University. Led all receivers yesterday with 3tds. Barely got to play in hs cause of injuries, went jc route and tore it up. Now at Sou an doing the same.
