Two games are in the books so far here in Oregon so it felt a good time to take a look at some of the top performers so far. Will it be all the usual suspects going lights out or might a few new names emerge? With a quick scan of the fields we came up with some stand out performers so far and break them down here.

Cade Smith has an offer from NAVY and others coming in. Now Cade is the State leader at 465 yards passing and 6 TD’s and anothr 216 yards and 5 tds. His brother Brett is an All American and this kid just “WINS” so when the big schools come in he will have earned it. Navy however is a life changing opportunity and a real chance to shine as well. Rigth now Cade is just spectacular.

Boland has 11 Td’s (9 passing, 2 rushing) the first two weeks. Boland had 662 passing and 154 rushing yards. Strengths are running speed and play making. He is such a special kid.

Elijah Molden of West Linn is only a Sophomore but the 2017 stud already has offers. The big time talent DB has an Oregon Ducks offer and schools like USC, UCLA and others will be on him soon. At 5’10”- and 175 lbs he is a two way threat and will dominate opponents on most nights. Big plays all year long so far.

Tim Tawa is a Sophomore and one of the best QB’s in the State right now. Tim who? Those in the know already know the 5’11”- 165 lb. speed burner. He is a D1 Baseball recruit and is now throwing darts at West Linn and has 535 Yards and 5 TD’s so far and may lead the upper classmen. A major talent this one!

Cole Chandler is the most accomplished QB stats wise out there and while he is looking for offer #1 still he has his Silverton Foxes rolling at #1 in the 5A. Total Package this guy.

Sirgio Hoffman is 6’1″ and 205 lbs and is tearing it up for the Gresham Gophers behind one of the State’s best lines. Last week the speedy bruiser went off for 394 yards and 4 TD’s. An athlete worth a serious look on both sides of the ball. Pic by Sharon Martin

Lamar Winston is a big time target at Central Catholic and one of the State’s best WR recruits. OSU confirmed that by making him an offer this week which was cool! The Oregon Ducks may be next for Winston!
–

Blake Brandel is 6’7″- 265 lbs and holds several offers. He was invited to the Semper Fidelis All American Bowl this week which is a huge honor and adds to the All American wall for the Rams!
–

Thomas Hamilton moved to Oregon City and proved his ability in front of PSU coaches and they have offered the 6’4″- 220 lb gun slinger an offer this week.
–

Willy Pflug now leads his Apollos at Sunset into Week 3 and has 680 yards and 6 tds! The Montana commit is doing it all!
–

Senior Qb Eric Dungey is sitting on a handful of D1 offers and he is showing new wrinkles to his game this season. He has generated 500 yards and 6 TD’s so far in offense and showing great footwork and control as well. Could be the Regions best by Playoffs!

Sam Inos worked 3 years to become a major D1 talent and he is there. The Tigard Senior racked up 230 yards and 5 TD’s and is on fire this year. Ralph Greene Pic.
