The NFL HSPD Camp is on in Portland and this one is a 5 day classic.  About 200 kids have come out every day in freezing temperatures and cold to learn from some great NFL Vets and current college coaches.   We made it out the first day and have your coverage and pics for you all listed on our FB page where we uploaded almost 500 action shots.

A top prospect in the Class of 2014 is Asan Neil-Evergin and you can read all about him in our Chasing The Dream Series here at NWPR!

One of the stand outs during our visit was Asan Neil-Evergin of Timberline High School in Lacey, Washington.  The 2014 grad is being recruited as a Running Back and now even more so potentially as a DB.  Man it is hard to find a quality DB in this day and age and this guy is going to be one of the best in the NW this year.

We caught up to Asan after Camp was over and before he drove a 3.5 hour jaunt back up to his home.  The committed student athlete shared his thoughts on the camp and his recruitment so far.
