There have been several commitments this off season already and another one went down yesterday as Sunset High scholar QB Willy Pflug made his move committing to the Montana Grizzlies. Pflug, the 5’11”- 185 lb Senior, is high on our list of Top QB’s in this amazing Pacific Northwest Class of 2015. His decision comes just at a time that the boys are preparing for daily doubles and really turning all their focus onto their teams. Considered the most accurate QB in this class Willy caught up with NWPR to share the news and break it down for us.
Here is what he had to say.
NWPR: Willy why Montana? What were the main factors in your decision?
Willy Pflug: It just felt like a great fit all around. I loved Missoula, the school, and I’ve heard amazing things about Griz Nation!
NWPR: Now that this recruiting process is finding you a home for the future how are you feeling?
Willy Pflug: It feels great to know where I’m going to be. Now I can really focus on my senior season and the team.
NWPR: Turning to the Sunset Apollos tell us about the team and how things are looking right now as you get closer to the season?
Willy Pflug: We are looking really good so far. All the pieces are coming together and the level of passion and energy from both the coaches and players is outstanding. Seth Wilson and Joe Peterson are showing great leadership and Caden Carter, Matt Burton, Alex Stickle and Kincaid Crile are all stepping up on the perimeter. We are going to be an exciting team to watch!
NWPR: Willy way to go! Congrats on all your accomplishments and have a safe and productive 2014 season!
Willy Pflug: Thank you guys for all the help and coverage too!
