Jumping around the NW in this pre-signing day madness we want to revisit some of the guys who should be getting offers and opportunities right now. Out in Wenatchee, Washington we find Rowan Parmenter who is not only a terrific QB but a 3.8 Honors Student with a 1340 SAT score.
Rowan led the Panthers at the QB spot the last couple of years and truly showed at 6’2″- 195 lbs he is worthy of a collegiate signal callers role. More then that he is a freakish athlete who can play about 4 other position. He has a 10 foot broad Jump, a 33″ vertical, a 4.5 40 time, and core strength that would shock most coaches. To date Rowan has played Safety, RB, Corner, and Linebacker beyond his QB spot.
Coaches at all levels looking to round out their rosters need to look at him. Here is a value pick – a kid who can come in and lead the squad and give you help at several different positions if he is called to do s0.
Rowan is ASB president at Wenatchee High School and winner of All League Honors and many other award recognizing his special talents.
He has an offer from University of San Diego and also preferred walk-on spots from UW, Colorado, and Boise State to play Safety or Nickel. Montana State and EWU seem to be close on this guy and no matter what happens his future sure looks bright.
Like all athletes Rowan wants a shot at the D1 Level and that could happen. If it is true that coaches offer Athletes first and then Students this guy is one to grab.
