Ryan Swanson Of Eagle HS Lands Weber State

We just watched the film of Eagle High School (ID) Senior Safety Ryan Swanson.  I’m still sitting here wondering if I have seen a more violent and over the top player in the NW for a while.  It never surprises me that talent like this escapes even prying eyes like ours.

Ryan Swanson

Here is a 6’1″- 190 lb.  fast mover who can hang with any of the safety/db prospects from the 2017 Class up and down I-5 where most of the action seems to be every recruiting cycle. Weber State of the Big Sky has moved in on him with an offer. There should be more and maybe there will be.

The most impressive thing about Ryan is his quick twitch and ability to cover space in an instant.  This speed is there on his film.  I do not think there is a faster or more explosive kid out there in the NW 2017 Class.    The aggressive nature that he plays with sends he and all the bodies around him flying in a explosion at the point of impact.

Read this in-depth story about Ryan in the Idaho Statesmen –

He is a 3 or 4 sport athlete and apparently quite a Golfer; art of Eagles state champion squad.  He shoots 70-75 on a regular basis for 18 holes.  In Eagle he seems to be somewhat of a local legend, a Pecos Bill sort of guy.  Coaches I can not stress enough that this young man appears to seriously have the X factor.  Have a look at this film!
