Gray burst on to the gridiron seen two seasons ago when he caught 35 balls for 552 yards and ran the pigskin 13 times for 106 yards totaling 3 touchdowns as a Sophomore. Last fall
the lightning bolt ended up garnering 61 balls good for 838 yards and 11 touchdowns as a Junior. Tevin really lit up the radar screen when he went ballistic in the Wesco 4A
Championship game grabbing 12 balls for 203 yards and 4 scores in the Vikings 53-49 win over Edmonds-Woodway.
The rock solid 5’11” 200 pound Senior rocket ship was a 2nd team All-Wesco receiver and Honorable-Mention safety last season for the Lake.  The young brute is also a force on the Track for the
Viks as well. Gray finished 8th at the state 4A meet in the Javein with a personal best toss of 171’7″. The talented Viking made it to regionals in the shot put also, recording a personal mark of 51′.
Tevin Gray is off to great start this season, he has snatched 13 balls for 201 yards and a touchdown through 2 battles.
Riley Krenz is a multi-talented gridiron guru. Last season as a super Sophomore Krenz caught 39 passes for 638 yards and recorded 3 total touchdowns for Lake Stevens. Riley was a 1st
team all-league selection at tight end and a 2nd team pick at free safety. He stole 3 interceptions and garnered 86 total tackles from his safety slot. This year the sure handed 5’11” 190 pound junior is off to a brilliant start to his campaign. Riley has already caught 19 footballs for 204 yards and 3 scores through 2 contests this year.
The Lake Stevens boys will try to rebound from a tough 40-28 loss to 3A powerhouse Marysville-Pilchuck. The Vikings will travel to Mount Vernon to do battle with the Bulldogs on Friday Night.
Skinny’s Crew is for real folks and we will be keeping a close watch on these guys!
