Unless someone else steps up and tells me I am wrong the Southern Oregon University Raiders are once again proving they are the best football team in the NW. No High School or college team from here has done what they have done these past few years. Oregon played for the National Title a year ago and lost. Linfield and others have some National Titles to their credit and the PSU Vikings stole headlines this season. But the NAIA National Champs from a year ago are about to have at it again. SOU is back in the title game tomorrow!
All American Julius Rucker of Westview High School in Portland, Oregon will help lead the SOU Raiders into battle tomorrow for the National Title!

The great thing for all you recruits is this. No matter how good you think you are- #D1Bound and all that stuff- this is the place you might want to be or might want to end up! Tomorrow these NW boys may just win it all. Last season Skyview HS (WA) QB set all time National Records and got his shot at the NFL. This season Westview HS (OR) Julius Rucker has been named a First Team All American. Both of these kids had a shot at D-1 and ended up in the NAIA in Ashland, Oregon and they would not have it any other way.

Last week the Raiders beat #1 Morningside in a late game TD 30-27 and tomorrow they have a date with the Marian Knights in an epic rematch game! You can see the game live on the web or ESPN 3- here is all the info.
