Stayton High School Reece Hack Looks to Repeat in 2011

Stayton High School Reece Hack Looks to Repeat in 2011

Reece Hack (6-3 195 Jr.) out of Stayton is one of the top quarterbacks in Oregon. He has looked as good if not better then any of the other athletes we have seen early on in the camp season. In 2010 he threw for 2500 yards and 25 Tds and ran for another 10 touchdowns to pace his team.

Hack is a workaholic. He refuses to settle and is always looking for ways to improve. He has spent his high school career being tutored by Greg and Taylor Barton, two of the best football minds in the country.

“We have taken road trips and I will just go over every different game time scenario with them, its something I have really enjoyed,” shared Hack.

Last week at the Barton Marketing Combine Hack had a great day. A mixture of coaches and onlookers commented on how polished he looked.

He has been traveling the country for the past couple seasons hitting select camps such as UCLA and Colorado. He also has visited Eastern Washington, Montana St, Idaho, Montana, and Carroll College while hearing from Oregon, Oregon St, San Jose St, and Nebraska as well.

Hack will be looking to earn some all camp awards and solidify that he is one of the top QB’s in the State. Playing at the 4A level Hack understands that these camps can put him on the map. He has done well in preparation over the last year and looks very mature coming into his senior season.

Reece is as athletic as any QB around, and he can rely on his wheels to get him upfield when in trouble.

It will be exciting to follow Hack over the next couple months and into the new season and see where he can lead his Stayton team. He is an outstanding athlete and a quality kid and we will be following his progress all year long.
