Hard to imagine we already have 2018 prospects already gaining recruiting attention but it is that time of the year where Seniors land offers and even more Juniors and a very select group of 10th graders will too. Talanoa Hufanga is one of those special kids who will gain some big time attention as we head into the off season. The Crescent Valley star QB and Strong Safety has top tier athletic ability and stands out on both sides of the ball.
His brother TJ is a linebacker for the Beavers and Talanoa who lives with his family near Corvallis seems to be getting some love from the Beavers big time. His film showcases the ability to unload on opposing receivers and he is strong in run support. On the offensive side his passing ability is balanced with a big time run threat and the kid can leap over defenders if he wants to. Many of the assets he already has are the skills most Seniors struggle to perfect.
Here is his film and Talanoa has been selected to our All NW Top 200 List and can be found there with a growing list of 2017 and the 2016 recruits who are moving through. This list we send out once a quarter to almost 1,000 Head college football coaches. Great job this year – keep an eye on this guy.
