There can be no doubt that the young man we projected as a 4 Star recruit 2 seasons ago has arrived. His offer today from Michigan has only further cemented that fact. But Talanoa Hufanga is not done yet. That 5th star and a potential Army All American bid is within his reach.
Talanoa Hufanga Continues His 5 Star Trajectory
The 6’1″- 200 lb do it all Athlete has now been offered by Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah, Arizona, WSU, and now Michigan. At this point we have him as #1 in the Class of 2018 from Oregon and he is rated as one of the top 10 athletes in the USA by both Rivals.com and Scout.com who both have him as a 4 Star recruit.
That 5th star is out there folks. We have not had that many 5 stars in the past but he certainly can be one of them. His work this season was the stuff of legends and he has gotten it done just all over the field. The entire Pacific NW tonight is celebrating tonight as another one of our own is able to attract an offer and interest from a quality program like Michigan. Great job once again by Talanoa and his Head Coach Scott Sanders of Crescent Valley High for coaching the kids up. The Raiders have put out some good athletes the past 4 or 5 years and the Corvallis based programs reflects the football mecca they hail from!
