Linemen To Watch Heading Into NWEFC Camp Friday

We are excited to see each and every kid. And here are some guys who will wow the Coaches and the Onlookers.

PART 1: Seven of our very best recruits and why they are going to be setting the bar high at the camp! In no particular order here they are:

Linemen To Watch Heading Into NWEFC Camp Friday

We spend a lot of our efforts here writing about lesser known kids.  The reality is most of the Top NW Prep Football Stars were covered here early on and in many cases first in their rise.  Once those offers start coming in they take off like a Rocket and off they go.  Having said that no Offer or Commitment goes un-noticed.  We cover them all the way to signing day.  Tonight we are gearing up for the biggest camp in the History of the Pacific NW Prep Football scene.  The Northwest Elite Football Camp- Formerly known as the Jason Gesser Camp.

At this point registration is closed and it sounds like about 650 kids are set to show up and show out.  At last check Colorado State had called and made their pledge to be on the ground with Coaches from all over the Nation.  The right management staff is in place in Cole Morgan, Eddie Behringer, and Zach Hekker and their amazing football families.  The major Media are frothing at the mouth (including us) and the Cameras will be rolling.  The Camp attracted kids from all over the Nation and we are stoked to see them being Coached and battling for a look by these terrific schools in attendance.

Rest assured offers will come out of this Camp.  Some will go to Stars.  Others will go to unknowns.  One thing is for sure.  The magic is going to be in the air when the 5 O'Clock Bell Tolls and the action begins!

We are excited to see each and every kid.  And here are some guys who will wow the Coaches and the Onlookers.

PART 1:  Seven of our very best recruits and why they are going to be setting the bar high at the camp!  In no particular order here they are:

Kaleb McGary- Fife High School- TE / OT /DE-2014 – All American Nominee- 14 Major Offers

Kaleb does not have to come to this Camp.  But he wants to.  There will be better linemen there or better Tight Ends– but there will not be better Athletes.  This massive Kid can Run and Jump and flex his mass and boy is he strong!  He is folks as they say "No Joke".

UW, OSU, BSU, WSU, Nebraska, Cal, Oregon, USC, Colorado, Wisconsin, and UTAH are just some of the schools.  Offering.  "Big Country" as we call him will have a handshake and a "Howdy" for anyone and everyone he meets and his heart is a pure and All American as Apple Pie!  A Top 75 Player in the US the young man is just awesome!

 Shane Bowman – Bellevue HS – 6'4"- 245 lbs – DE 2014

The attacking defensive linemen hybrid linebacker is an absolute monster.   15 Sacks last season led the State and he helped propel the Wolverines to the #1 Spot.  This year he will be "unleashed" according to what we have been told.  Does that mean 30 Sacks?  And guess what.  He is 35 lbs heavier and faster then last season.

Lord help anyone that has to defend this guy!  Shane is a guy who should leave the camp with many College Coaches hot to get ahold of him.  Remember these Coaches rarely get to see these kids live and this Camp is one of the few places in the Nation they can do that.  He has UNLV, Nevada, and Northern Colorado.  The Pac 12 schools are going to be not far behind we think!  Go Shane!  He hits camp with little brother Ryan who we here is a terror in his own right!

 Austin Holmes – Eagle Point HS- Oregon- 2014- 6'4"- 243 lbs –

Austin is coming to this camp from WAY south of Eugene and is coming in as a kid who we expect Coaches to be HOT on after they see him.  The young man is smooth, powerful, and has great football instincts.

Air Force academy is close to offering it seems as Holmes is a 4.0 student. The big time kid plays in a small market but it did not stop his Brother Tyrone who is tearing it up in the Big Sky.

And it will not stop him.

Look for Austin to move up at Camp and you can see his film at the link listed Below:

 Josh Brown- Sunset HS- Oregon 2014 – 6'6"- 245 lbs DE/TE

Here is the deal.  The kid is flexing back and forth between TE and DE.  He has big time hands and good speed.  What a big powerful wide frame this guy has.

He had a good season for the Apollo's last year and in the off season has been adding mass and force.  There is no doubt discussions about college using him as a up-field blocker and down and distance receiver at TE because he can flat out Block and is good at it.  If he hits 275 to 295 lbs– which we think is going to happen then you can not miss as he is a natural at DE or OG or OT.  This is why guys as big as this who can move are Hot!  Watch for Josh to grab his second offer and maybe more right after this camp.  NCU has offered.  Catch his film here-

  Travis Baaken – Edmonds- Woodway HS- 2014- 6'7"- 250 lbs  TE-T

Travis came to the PSU Spring scrimmage.  We had seen glimpses of his film but had tn met.  Folks this is another massize , lean, agile kid with the ability to run and jump and move laterally like this other fine big men.

Baaken is getting some serious looks.  Long Arms, Mobile, 6'7", a 3.5 GPA– all spells big time prospect!  Watch for Mr Baaken to make his move at this camp.  HIS FILM IS HERE!

 Jevin Pahinui – Mountlake Terrace – 2014- 6'4"- 270 lbs – OL / DL

We have not seen as much of Jevin as we would have liked too.  But that is about to change.  All American running back Devante Downs does a lot of his work behind this guy.

The aggression factor is here and he can finish guys off.  He is tough, quick on his feet, and has Collegiate Guard written all over him.  He actually is perfect as a center so we will have to see what the coaches think after this camp is over in terms of the interest level.  He has many suitors right now!

Catch Jevin's film here-

 Monike Failauga (Sarte)  – 6'2"-300 lbs – 2014 – FIFE

State Heavy Weight Champ Wrestler.  There is nothing you can really say here other then "Wow".  He is a terrific kid and a consumate talent.

This is a big time Nose or Defensive Tackle and your not going to find a better worker.  He is double teamed every down and still wins battles.

He is very close to his first offer.  Catch his Film Here-
