The defending champ Conqs from Kentwood are led by their all-state backstop, Reese McGuire. The senior McGuire is a four year starter and will play at the University of San Diego next year. Fellow senior Tanner Wessling has had monster season for Kentwood. He is roping the ball at a .414 clip, to go with 14 doubles and 36 runs batted in. The Conqs top hurler is freshman phenom Jordan Jones, who has 6 wins and a tidy 1.52 earned run average on the hill. Kade Kryzsko , a 6’2” junior pitcher/infielder is another key cog for Kentwood.

The South Kitsap Wolves from Port Orchard, feature a nasty one-two punch on the mound in seniors Michael Wood and Josh Johnston. Wood was the co-pitcher of the year in the Narrows league. The two combined to give up just one run in the Wolves regional wins over Jackson and Woodinville. The Wolves big bats are led by senior outfielder Cody Wolfe, junior 1st team all-league designated hitter Tanner Davison and all-conference infielder Tyler Ludlow, a smooth fielding Junior.

The Chargers from Kentridge high exploded into the final four by defeating Richland 10-8 and Cascade 6-1, in regional play. The Chargers have some big boppers, paced by junior 1st sacker Joe Wainhouse, who is batting .412 with 3 homers and 23 runs batted in. Outfielder Devin Riley is hitting .427 to go with 21 rbi’s. Infielder Joel Condreay leads the club with 25 rbi’s. Senior Zach Beatty is one of their top pitchers and is batting .370 with 3 long balls and 23 rbi’s. The young Skyview Storm rolled into the final 4 by virtue of their regional wins over Gonzaga Prep (3-1) and rival Heritage (6-4). The scrappy Storm are led into battle by hard hitting junior outfielder Alec Chaney. Alec had a huge day at regionals, going 3 for 4 against G-Prep and then roping 3 rbi’s against Heritage. Junior catcher James Brooks is another big stick in the Skyview nine lineup. The Storm have 2 rock solid arms in junior Ian Hamilton, who fanned 12 vs. G-Prep and Sophomore rocket tosser Brooks Hanson.
