One of several big time plays Trevor Westover hurdles over a Saxon on his Way to the endzone

One way or the other he was going to help the Colt’s win. But Trevor Westover never dreamed he would end the record breaking night with 543 yards of offense. This is the Wow Factor this week. At 6’1″ and 195 Pounds Trevor Westover is a Load!

The talented Senior from Thurston High School can do it all with great speed, excellent hands, and a change of direction that would make even the most seasoned college coach look twice.

Last Friday against South Salem the Colt’s got into a shoot out.

By games end there were 1400 yards left out on that field and one wild finish at 64-59.

Lucky for Thurston their star went off and finished the night with 277 yards rushing, 177 yards receiving and 89 yards earned on Kick returns.

In many years of keeping stats Christopher Ames, editor of  StateWideStats.com says he can not recall an effort like that in a big school in many years.

“That is by my records one of the all time great performances and in the years I have been doing this the best for a large 6A School,” said Ames who tracks stats on many pf Oregon and Washington’s best athletes as the season goes along.

Westover is being recruited by a number of Big Sky level schools and is committed to doing whatever he has to to play at that level. Words can not explain what he did.   But film sure can!
