Zack Borisch is not a household name in the High School football world. Making it as a Quarterback is not easy and despite the fact that this kid has the mental and physical skills to go big he is still trying to get his name out there. Don’t get me wrong- he is a legit QB who had a great 2015 season leading the Kamiakin Braves into the playoffs last season. They had a nice run loosing to Lakes 53-34 who went on to play in the Final 4 loosing to State Champion Eastside Catholic. Borisch had excellent stats and was among the best in Washington State despite not playing more then a a 1/2 or so in some games.
You can watch Zach, a right handed gunner, right here.
There is, as they say, a lot more to the story with this guy. Football may be his ticket to college but other things take center stage in his life and the life of his dynamic Family from the Tri Cities, Washington. Judo for one. Zach just got back from the Cadet Pan-American Championship which was held in Cordoba, Argentina and in his first International appearance he took the Bronze. Pretty awesome for a 16 year old High School kid fighting against the World’s best.
He is a highly decorated fighter competing since he was very young and along with his Dad, Robert, works out and teaches at Tri City Judo. Zach and his siblings — sisters Morgan, 26, and Asia, 13, and brothers Samuel, 18, and Gabe, 7 all work out at the family gym and grew up around the sport.

“Mom & Dad both modeled, that’s how they met. Mom did fashion shows in Hawaii. Dad did a lot of the big time modeling cover photos. One on Sports Illustrated and he modeled for Versace,” said Zach admitting his parents have told him he is too busy to add that to his repertoire.
“He is going to shock people at how good he can be,” said All American QB and Coach John Charles who has trained Zach. “He learns so fast and has really good mechanics. His upside is huge no doubt.”
“Our Football team looks great, our receivers have to be the best in the state. Jethro and I are still in the backfield. And we still have an awesome line up front,” he added stating he likes the Braves chances this year.
